By winning their sixth Coupe de la Ligue trophy on Saturday April the 23th 2016, Paris Saint-Germain became the most decorated mens team in the history of French football. The latest Coupe de France Triumph against archrivals Marseille on May the 21st brought the total up to 30 trophies for Paris Saint-Germain ! An incredible trophy haul for a club that celebrated its 45thanniversary at the beginning of the season... far behind Marseille (founded 117 years ago), Monaco, Saint-Etienne and Bordeaux (97 years) and Lyon (66 years).
To the Coupe de France (1982, 1983, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015 and 2016) is added the UEFA Cup Winners Cup (1996), six Ligue 1 titles (1986, 1994, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), six Coupe de la Ligue (1995, 1998, 2008, 2014, 2015, 2016), five Trophée des Champions (1995, 1998, 2013, 2014, 2015), one Intertoto Cup (2001), and a D2 championship (1971): 30 titles... unique in France

In defeating Marseille 4-2 in the Coupe de France final on Saturday May the 21st, Paris Saint-Germain became the first professional European side to win every domestic trophy, two years in a row (2015, 2016).

The Club achieved extraordinary results in 2015/2016, as it continued to make its mark on the history of French football. For the second consecutive season, the 4 domestic trophies were snaffled up by Paris Saint-Germain this season. As in season 2014-2015, the capita club claimed all trophies on offer in France (Trophée des Champions, Ligue 1, Coupe de la Ligue and Coupe de France). Paris thus became the first professional club in Europe to win all four domestic trophies two seasons in a row. These 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th trophies in club history made Paris Saint-Germain the most decorated club in the history of French football.
